Wessex Intensive Care Society
The Wessex Intensive Care Society (WICS) was established in the 1980's. It has rapidly developed into a society which brings together intensive care health professionals across the Wessex region.
Our aim is to advance medical practice within our intensive care units, support training and provide quality education through biannual meetings.
As a not-for-profit unincorporated medical society all proceeds generated from sponsored meetings & events are used to support educational meetings & activities relevant to critical care in the Wessex region. Executive council positions are all unpaid, volunteer roles.
